About Solana Ecosystem Atlas
Independent Solana learning library established in London — our mission, team, and approach to ecosystem education.
Official business information
Registered name: Solana Ecosystem Atlas Ltd
Established: 2021
Registered office: Office 10, 72 Demo Street, London ZZ1 1AD, United Kingdom
Our origin
Solana Ecosystem Atlas began when two researchers in London kept receiving the same question from journalists and newcomers: “Where do I even start reading about Solana?” Public documentation was scattered across project sites, forums, and technical papers. We started compiling category maps and glossary entries for our own reference, then offered structured sessions when colleagues asked for walkthroughs.
By 2023 the library covered wallets, validators, DeFi segments, and NFT communities with enough depth to support one-to-one consultations. We remain a small team focused on explanation rather than promotion.
What we do
We maintain an independent learning library and deliver live consultations that orient readers within the Solana project landscape. Our work is educational. We do not sell tokens, operate validators, or receive sponsorship from projects we mention in sessions.
Our approach
- Category-first: We group projects by function before comparing individual names.
- Source-linked: We cite public documentation and on-chain data viewers readers can verify.
- Question-driven: Sessions adapt to your background — developer, journalist, compliance trainee, or curious holder.
- No hype cycle: We explain mechanics and risks without urgency language or performance promises.
The team
Dr. Amara Okonkwo — Lead researcher. Former data journalist who covered European fintech regulation before focusing on blockchain infrastructure writing.
Jonas Weiss — Ecosystem cartographer. Maintains our visual maps of application and DeFi categories; previously a technical writer for developer tooling companies.
Priya Nair — Reader support. Coordinates session bookings, sends follow-up materials, and collects reader questions that shape new glossary entries.
Working with us
Most readers begin with an Ecosystem Orientation Session or a targeted briefing on wallets, validators, DeFi, or NFT culture. Custom research briefs are available for teams needing written deliverables within a defined scope.
We respond to enquiries within two working days. Sessions are delivered remotely to clients across the UK and internationally.
