Ecosystem Orientation Session
A guided 90-minute walkthrough of the full Solana project landscape — ideal for journalists, analysts, and curious newcomers.

Who this session is for
You have heard about Solana but struggle to see how wallets, applications, validators, DeFi protocols, and NFT communities connect. Perhaps you are writing an article, onboarding a colleague, or preparing for deeper reading and want a coherent map before you dive in.
What we cover
We begin with a concise explanation of how Solana processes transactions and why its architecture matters for application design. From there, we walk through six ecosystem categories:
- Consumer and social applications
- Infrastructure and developer tooling
- Wallet types and security models
- DeFi segments (lending, AMMs, stablecoins, derivatives)
- NFT culture and marketplaces
- Validator participation and staking basics
Each category includes two or three named project examples chosen for educational clarity, not endorsement.
What is included
